Playdate at the Park

We went to the park today for our weekly playdate (minus a few friends who were too sick to come).  We attempted to have a picnic but there were tons of black birds that wanted to steal our food and we could only keep them a few feet away.  Poor Sayler was scared of them!  Sayler & Christian had a great time on the swings!

Sayler had such a fun Valentine's Day!  She was able to see all of her friends at KDO and then I went up to the church for the party that afternoon.

Sunday at the Zoo

The Elephants

The weather was so nice on Sunday so we decided to head to the zoo since we hadn't been in months and wanted to see the new African Forest.  Apparently everyone else in Houston had the same idea because I have never seen it so crowded.  Sayler enjoyed the animals a lot more than the last time we were there, except she was scared of the elephants.

Sayler has several toddler DVDs that she likes to watch and over the weekend she would only watch them while sitting in this basket.  She throws half of the toys out of the basket so she can easily fit inside and then climbs in.  Doesn't look very comfortable to us but she LOVES it!
