Sayler's 2nd Birthday Party

A special "dairy free" cupcake for the Birthday Girl

Enjoying cake with best pals Luke, Addison & Sydney

Brushing the goats at the petting zoo

Sayler loves slides!

On our way to go see the monkeys!

Tripp just hung out at the party - he was such a good boy!

Sayler had her birthday party at the zoo this year.  It was a Minnie Mouse theme because Minnie is a big deal right now at our house!! We had such a great time!  Sayler loves going to the zoo so we figured it would be a great place for her to celebrate with friends and family.  We were surprised she didn't like the carousel at first, but when it was time to get off she didn't want to leave!  After cake and presents the kids went to the petting zoo, the playground, and then to see the animals.  It was a little sad to think this will be the last birthday party we have for one of our children in Houston :(

Sayler's 2nd Birthday!!

Not in the mood to have her pic taken when she woke up

Saying "cheese" before we left for KDO

With some of her friends at KDO

Notice Tripp in the background?  He was happy playing with his toys.

We had so much fun celebrating Sayler's 2nd birthday!  Tripp and I took cupcakes up to her KDO class and then we opened presents with Tracy when he got home that night.  We are so excited about her birthday party coming up!

Tripp is also getting bigger!  He had his 4 month check-up (a little early because I took Sayler at the same time for her 24 month appt) and was 25 1/2 inches (75th percentile) and 17 pounds, 6 ounces (92nd percentile).  He's definitely a big boy!

Sayler's 1st Day of School & Recent Pictures

1st Day - she would not look at the camera...

2nd Day - finally posed for me

Tripp enjoying his time with just Mommy while Sayler is at school

Pretending to text on my camera

Finally big enough for the Jumperoo!

Sayler's Toddler Bed - Tripp is now in the crib

Helping Daddy cook (Sam helps with the clean-up)

Tripp started sucking his thumb!

This is Sayler's 2nd year to attend Kid's Day Out at our church.  She LOVES going and even though she has new teachers, she went right in the first day and barely looked back at me to say Goodbye.  She did try to sneak into her old classroom as we were walking down the hall but after hugs from her old teachers she trotted on down the hall to follow me to her new room.  Her teachers this year are Miss Robin & Miss Jessica and she has most of the same kids in her class as last year.  One new thing this year is the kids sleep on napmats instead of in cribs.  I have no idea how they get all of those toddlers to lie down and quietly go to sleep on the floor.  Luckily Sayler's teachers said she went right to sleep the first day!
