Our Little Tadpole

Sayler with her instructor Meredith.

Sayler was so excited to take swimming lessons this summer.  We put her in private lessons because at her age a parent has to get in the water with their child and I don't know what I would do with Tripp.  She loved her instructor and had a great time swimming each evening.  Since our new house has a pool I really want the kids to be good swimmers!

Sayler's 1st Dance Class!

Entertaining herself while waiting for the class to start

Ever since I found out Sayler was a girl, I've been excited about all of the girly things I can do with her.  Taking her to dance lessons and attending recitals is something I've been looking forward to for 2 1/2 years.  I loved taking her to pick out a leotard and tap shoes over the weekend and today she went to her first tap class!  She seemed to really like it, except for when she pouted because it wasn't her turn (as evidenced in the last pic).

Another Pic from our Trip to SC

Riding bikes is a very popular thing to do in Kiawah. We rented bikes and our whole family rode all over the island.  The kids rode in style in this burley and for the most part they got along.  I was worried with them being belted in so close and without a referee, there might be some hair pulling and wrestling.  Thankfully there were only a few times we heard some screeching and one of us would ride up next to them to make sure things were OK and they were.  Tracy pulled the kids in the burley (he said it was quite a workout going uphill) and the rest of us took turns between the regular "island cruisers" and the tandem.  By the way, riding a tandem bike is a lot harder that I thought it would be.
