Sayler's Shoes
We bought Sayler some flip flops for the pool this summer and she is obsessed with them. She has to have them on at all times and would sleep in them if we let her. Since she got them a few days ago she wants to put them on first thing in the morning and doesn't take them off. She has been obsessed with bracelets for the last 2 weeks and wore 10 on each arm but now these flip flops are her top priority and she has only put on 1 bracelet since she saw the flip flops. I wonder what it will be next week...

3 Weeks
We are loving every minute with Tripp and can't believe he's already 3 weeks old. We visited Dr. Filak for his 2 week check-up. Tripp was 20 inches (50th percentile) and 8 pounds, 4 ounces (50th percentile). 5 days later he had another doctor's appointment and was 9 pounds, 1 ounce. He's definitely gaining weight and seems to eat all the time.
We made our first trip as a family of 4 last weekend. We went to Dallas so my grandparents could meet Tripp. They have 3 great granddaughters and now finally a great grandson!

Proud Dad
Since Tripp still hadn't come almost 3 weeks (39 weeks) after his big sister (36 weeks), we decided to induce. Fortunately Tripp decided to come on his own that day. I started having contractions early that morning so we headed to the hospital and several hours later we found out we had a son! Tripp was born at 2:18pm on May 24, 2011. He weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces and was 20 inches long.
The first day we didn't think he looked anything like Sayler but over the next couple of days he started to look more like her newborn pictures. We are so happy to have a girl and a boy now! Sayler is very gentle with him and we can't wait to take him home and start our lives together.

First Polo Match
On Sunday we went to the Red Oak Cup at the Houston Polo Club. We had a such a good time and Sayler loved everything about it. When watching the horses wasn't entertaining enough, she played in the dirt where we were sitting, jumped in the bounce house, and stomped the divots with Tracy . She was by far the youngest in the bounce house but wasn't scared at all.

Galveston
We took Sayler to play at the beach in Galveston today. We're trying to get out of the house and do as much as possible in these last few days before Baby #2 comes and we'll be more homebound. Sayler LOVED the water, even though it was cold.
