Happy Easter!

What did the Easter Bunny bring??

We had such a fun Easter this year!  My parents and sister came in town for the weekend. We took pictures in the bluebonnets, dyed eggs, and played outside.  Luckily the weather was great all weekend so we spent a lot of time outside on the patio and on walks with the kids.  We tried a new church on Easter Sunday and we're not sure if it's the right one for us, but it was a great service.  This year Sayler was really into hunting for eggs and couldn't wait to see what was inside each egg.  Last year she just wanted the eggs - she would throw the candy on the ground and just put the eggs in her basket.

Trying to stay awake for dinner after a very busy day!

Sayler has had several sick days where she napped on the couch all day

Tripp - 9 Months

Tripp had his 9 month check-up with our new pediatrician in Kerrville!  After several jokes from the nurses on his size, we found out he is 29 inches (75th percentile) and 23 pounds, 8 ounces (90th percentile).  He's in 18 - 24 mo. clothes so he's still a BIG boy.  He's a very good baby and is super sweet.  He's so laid back - maybe it's because he's the second baby?  He's crawling now which has made life really crazy around here.  To wear him out I let him race Sayler down our hallway.  She always wins but at least he gets some exercise.  He's also cruising and pulling up on anything and everything he can find (sturdy or not) which forces me to not take my eyes off him for a second.  Luckily only a few little tumbles so far.  He still has very blue eyes.  By this time Sayler's blue eyes had started to change to brown but we think Tripp might keep my eye color!

Last Day of Tapestry

Moving Day at Houston house

Kerrville House

Sayler excited about her first day of school!
(in the breakfast room at the new house)

We've been in our new house in Kerrville for a week now and are getting settled. Sayler & Tripp were in Dallas with my parents while we moved from the Houston house and got settled here in Kerrville.  Caki & Pop brought them to Kerrville on Saturday and Caki stayed for a few days to help me finish unpacking.  Sayler had her first week of Mother's Day Out this week and did great.  Her teacher met us in the hall and Sayler handed over her coat and Sleepy (her blanket).  The she followed Ms. April to her new classroom and started playing with toys.  I haven't met any of the other parents yet, but I like her new teachers and think this school will be a great fit for her.
