Tripp had his 6 month check-up today and is 28 inches (90th percentile) and 19 pounds, 10 ounces (85th percentile). He's now in a higher percentile for height than weight! He did great with his shots. I put EMLA on his thighs where the shots are going to be given and it numbs the area so the shots aren't as painful. He cried for about 5 seconds and then was good to go. I started using it on Sayler for her shots and she doesn't cry near as long as she used to. I read about this in a magazine right before Tripp was born and am SO glad we are now using it.
